Businesses can thrive through the exchange of ideas and learning from one another, where experts come together, practitioners and leaders talk about ways forward to succeed in a local business.

This was highlighted by the Solicitor-General Ropate Green Lomavatu during the Business Excellence Conference at the Holiday Inn in Suva.

Lomavatu says the future holds both opportunities and uncertainties, as we navigate this ever-changing landscape, let us embrace the principles of business excellence, innovation, collaboration, and sustainability.

The Solicitor-General says we can chart a course towards a future where our local businesses thrive, our communities prosper, and Fiji continues to shine as a beacon of business excellence.

Lomavatu says the conference is aimed to foster a culture where excellence was not merely a goal, but a way of life for organisations.

Fiji National University Pro Vice Chancellor for Technical and Vocational Education and Training Doctor Isimeli Tagicakiverata says for businesses to succeed in this ever-changing environment, they needed to be agile and adaptable.

Dr Tagicakiverata says the world of business is constantly evolving and new technologies are emerging, new markets are opening up, and customer expectations are changing.

He says to succeed in this ever-changing environment, businesses need to be agile and adaptable and they need to be able to quickly identify and respond to new opportunities and challenges.
