ACS and Nakasi currently leading the Triple N Zone

Emosi Daubitu of Naitasiri Secondary School is the Boy’s Blue Ribbon winner while Rapeka Rosi of ACS won the Senior Girl’s 100 metres event in the Coca Cola Triple N Zone.

Daubitu clocked a time of 11.04 seconds while Sila Central’s Vuniani Cavuilati finished second at 11.22 seconds and Ratu Koronako Serutalatala of Lelean Memorial High School settled for bronze with a time of 11.51 seconds.

Rosi of ACS came first with a time of 12.79 seconds

Meanwhile, Filomena Navula of ACS won three gold medals after winning the sub-junior 100 metres, 200 metres and 4 × 100 metres relay.

A total of five records have been broken so far at the Triple N Zone with two from the field and three from the track events.

Jope Turagakula of Nakasi High School broke the Senior Boys Javelin record with a throw of 51.45 metres.

The second record this morning was set by David Raibiriki of Davuilevu Methodist High School in the Triple Jump with a distance of 12.88 metres.

Jona Tubuna of Vunimono High School broke the Sub-Junior boys 1,500 metres record running a time of 5 minutes 9 seconds.

Waidina Secondary School athlete Rosivela Matanimeke set a new zone record in the Junior Boys 1,500 metres with a time 4 minutes 45 seconds.

Looking at the medal tally, ACS is leading the girls division with 19 gold, 14 silver and 12 bronze while Nakasi High School is leading the boys division with 7 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze.
