The Accident Compensation Commission is encouraging parents and legal guardians of the students injured in the tragic bus accident in Ajodhya Prasad Street in Banaras, Lautoka to reach out to the Commission for assistance.

The Commission says they are saddened by the injuries suffered by victims of the bus accident on Wednesday where the bus was carrying students from Delana Primary School.

ACCF says they are liaising with Fiji Police Force in identifying victims and their families so that the ACCF can provide assistance with applications for compensation.

They say families can message ACCF on Facebook for application forms and this can also be obtained from any branch of the Land Transport Authority of Fiji.

They say parents and legal guardians should not hesitate to contact ACCF regarding the application process.

The Commission is also requesting all road users to share the roads safely and responsibly as we have already lost 44 lives on our roads this year compared to 14 this time last year.
