44,812 students have been funded under the Scholarship and Loans Schemes since its inception in 2014 and the Tertiary Scholarship and Loans Board has started meeting students to discuss options for next year.

TSLB says with an allocation of $161.1 million in the 2020/2021 National Budget by the government for TSLB to fund tertiary, technical and vocational studies for the eligible Fijians, there is no better time to be part of the roadshows and realizing your childhood dream of higher education post the completion of high school studies.

The sessions will be held in Nadi, Sigatoka and Savusavu on Saturday.

TSLB says despite the unfavourable weather conditions experienced in most parts if Fiji last Saturday, 300 students turned up for the roadshows held in Vanua Levu at the two venues with 410 students turning up for the roadshows held in Tavua, Ba and Lautoka.

The roadshows are aimed at empowering the students and parents on the schemes available for 2021, eligibility criteria, required documents for applications, application processing procedures and also providing responses to the queries from those in attendance.
