23 people charged for sexual offences in November

23 people were charged with 60 counts of sexual offences in November of which two were juveniles. There was one female accused person and 22 male accused persons.

There were 24 victims of whom 16 victims were under the age of 18 years.

A 16-year-old boy was charged with the rape of a 15-year-old girl from the same school.

A 13-year-old girl was charged with the rape and sexual assault of a 9-year-old girl.

There was one incident where a 66-year-old man was charged with the rape and sexual assault of his 7- year-old grandniece.

A 47-year-old man was charged with four counts of rape and five representative counts of sexual assault of his 16-year-old daughter while in another incident, a 45-year-old man was charged with the rape of his 10-year-old stepdaughter.

There was one incident where a 50-year-old man was charged with the rape and sexual assault of his 21-year-old niece while in another incident, a 45-year-old man was charged with the sexual assault of his 11-year-old niece after he procured her to witness a pornographic video on his phone.

A 20-year-old man was charged with five counts of rape and two counts of sexual assault of his 14-year-old stepsister.

A 22-year-old man was charged with the rape of his 11-year-old cousin.

There were three incidents of marital rape.

A 43-year-old man was charged with the defilement of a 16-year-old girl. The accused was the friend of the victim’s father.

There was one incident where a 31-year-old man was charged with the rape of a 13-year-old girl. The accused approached the victim whilst she was walking to school.

A 30-year-old man was charged with the rape of an 18-year-old woman. The victim was a tourist and the accused was a resort worker.
