2021-2022 National Budget to focus on forming a key pillar of a robust economic recovery – Koya

Acting Minister for Economy and Attorney General, Faiyaz Koya says the 2021-2022 National Budget will focus on forming a key pillar of a robust economic recovery that puts Fijians back to work and revives critical industries like Tourism.

Koya is calling on Fijians, including civil society and non-governmental organisations to participate in this year’s consultation and voice their views and opinions on the 2021-2022 National Budget.

He says Fijians can now make written submissions which can be posted, hand delivered or emailed by the 14th of May.

Koya says the Ministry will also undertake face to face consultations and host an open-chat forum on Facebook for people to share their ideas and have an interactive discussion.
