An 18-year-old man has been remanded for allegedly assaulting a 75-year-old woman at her home in Siberia, Labasa.
Manueli Madigi is charged with one count of aggravated burglary and one count of aggravated robbery.
It is alleged that the man attacked the woman when she confronted him for unlawfully entering her house and stole liquor and cash before fleeing the scene.
He will appear in Labasa High Court on the 21st of February.
