The Fiji Water Flying Fijians will be fighting for their teammates who are hurting after losing their loved ones when they run out for their 2023 Rugby World Cup quarter final match against England on Monday morning.

Forwards coach and former Flying Fijians’ prop Graham Dewes says in the team, they love each other.

He says big things like the two teammates who lost their loved ones while participating in this year’s World Cup help motivate the team.

Dewes further says there is a big belief in the squad and that is aiming to bypass the achievements of the 2007 team.

He says Fiji’s win over England at Twickenham in August this year has given them a lot of confidence and now it is a do-or-die match.

He adds it is either they go hard or go home early.

Dewes says the Flying Fijians are capable of shocking the world as they have done it in the past and if they stick to their game plan, they can do it again.

Dewes scored the winning try for the Flying Fijians in their 38-34 win over Wales at the 2007 RWC helping them qualify for the quarter finals.

The Flying Fijians will play England at 3am Monday in Marseille.

In other RWC quarter finals, Wales will play Argentina at 3am Sunday, Ireland will take on the All Blacks at 7am Sunday and hosts France will play South Africa at 7am Monday.
