Ratuniyarawa is grateful for the opportunity to represent Barbarians against Wales

Fiji Water Flying Fijians lock forward Api Ratuniyarawa is grateful for the opportunity to represent the Barbarians FC for this weekend’s clash against Wales.

The 37-year-old veteran returned from the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France after he was called into the squad as an injury replacement and will be on the bench this weekend for this exhibition match.

Ratuniyarawa who has 41 international caps for the Flying Fijians will lineup alongside Flying Fijians teammates Selestino Ravutaumada, Tevita Ikanivere, Simione Kuruvoli, Ilaisa Droasese and Peni Ravai.

Alongside the 6 Flying Fijians players, Fijian Wallabies number 8 Rob Valetini is the 7th player with links to Fiji in the Barbarians’ squad.

Meanwhile, the Barbarians side had a team bonding session last night in Cardiff with all the players rocking up in their Cowboys outfits.

The Barbarians will take on Wales at 2am Sunday in Cardiff.
