Police say they will not be commenting on new posts on Facebook by a man currently under investigation for alleged political cybercrime and alleged rape as the investigations are ongoing.
The new Facebook posts by the man have targetted a member of the NFP and suspended SODELPA.
They are alleged messenger conversations.
The man has alleged that he was paid by the National Federation Party and the suspended SODELPA for posting fake news on Facebook pages like Fiji Exposed Forum.
Although the man claims that cheque payments were made to him, Fijivillage understands Police still have no documentary evidence of the alleged payments.
Fijivillage understands Police are trying to gather substantial proof about all the allegations made by the man.
He has also deleted posts uploaded on his Facebook page against the FBC CEO. On the 12th of June, the man was supposed to appear in court after Police issued a statement saying that he is facing 5 counts of raping a 13-year-old girl.
Later that day, Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro confirmed his file was referred back to the CID as the Director of Public Prosecutions wanted more action to be taken. Police have since said that the man is possibly facing several counts of rape after they complete their work.
