The Fiji Rugby Football Union Trust Board and Fiji Water have announced a renewed partnership that will have Fiji Water as the major sponsor of the men’s national 15s team for the next four years.

According to FRU, this multi-million-dollar deal solidifies the commitment of both organizations to build the strongest team heading into the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia.

FRU says Fiji Water will also continue to serve as the official water provider for Fiji Rugby.

They say this deal will ensure the athletes have the essential resources they need to succeed at the highest level of competition both on and off the pitch.

FRFUTB Chair Peter Mazey says they are once again deeply grateful to Fiji Water for their continued support and belief in their vision.

Mazey says the team’s performance at the 2023 Rugby World Cup was boosted by the Fiji Water’s belief in the team to perform and the global rugby community had the opportunity to experience first-hand the Flying Fijians' amazing performances against the best teams in the world.

He says Fiji Water is an invaluable partner, and they look forward to another successful chapter in elevating Fiji Rugby to new heights and achieving remarkable success on the international stage.

He adds this is so much more than just a financial sponsorship as it is a testament to their shared values of excellence, integrity, and community development that unites both organizations.

Fiji Water Executive Vice President Craig Cooper says they are honoured to continue their support of Fiji Rugby.

Cooper says rugby holds a special place in the hearts of the people of Fiji and they treasure the team’s success.

He says in this pivotal time for rugby in Fiji, they have a tremendous opportunity to work together to build on all the momentum the team has and make Fiji rugby an even greater force globally.

The Fiji Water logo will appear on the front of each player’s jersey, as well as on other apparel and gear for the FIJI Water Flying Fijians.

The Flying Fijians flew out last night and will take on the Barbarians for the Killik Cup match at 4.15am this Sunday at Twickenham Stadium.
