Crusaders Coach Rob Penny says some mitigating factors that cost the Crusaders the loss today were carnage in their changing rooms as players were suffering from heat stroke and they knew the players were not going to execute their game plan well.

Penney acknowledged the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua's performance, saying that they played really well and took their opportunities.

He says that sometimes it comes down to those little moments that they failed to capitalise on during the game.

He further says with the heat stroke taking the best of them, he knew the boys were not going to play to their full potential today.

When questioned by fijivillage News on the performance of the young players, Penny says there is room for improvement across the park, and he hopes they enjoyed this experience.

Penny spoke highly of Drua fly-half Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula and said he played a fantastic game.

Penny adds that they have identified factors that cost them the game today, and they will work to improve their performance.

The Drua will play the Chiefs next Saturday at 6.30pm, while the Crusaders will face the Hurricanes at 6.05pm Friday.
