The Fiji Police Force teams for the Ratu Sukuna Bowl Challenge 2023 have been laid a challenge by the Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew and that is to not stop working when they get tired, but to only stop when the work is done.

During the Force Dedication Service held at the Suva Civic Centre today, ACP Chew says the mindset, focus, urge, desire and intention to win against the RFMF commences from today till next Friday after the final event of the Sukuna Bowl Challenge.

The Acting Commissioner says from the day they have prepared, prayed and come together, to get the prestigious Sukuna Bowl back to Nasova.

He says that next Sunday when they converge for the thanksgiving service again, the Sukuna Bowl will be back in Nasova.

Fiji Police Chaplain Superintendent of Police (SP) Waisale Tikowale says their greatest strength lies within themselves, as teammates and comrades.

SP Tikowale says the principle of unity, not only applies to the Ratu Sukuna Bowl Tournament but the everyday execution of their duties.

The 2023 Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl Tournament kicks off tomorrow with the Netball and Volleyball Competitions at the Netball Centre in Suva.

The main rugby clash between defending champions Police and the RFMF will be at 4.30pm next Friday at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.
