As the All Blacks prepare to defend their fortress at Eden Park against England, coach Scott Robertson has acknowledged the legacy the All Blacks must uphold.

The All Blacks’ 30-year, 48-test unbeaten Eden Park stronghold historically evokes a sense of calm and comfort.

Robertson says everything is earned there and they respect what has been before and now it is their opportunity.

He says it’s home and there is a natural feel to it where players come with a bit of expectation around it.

Robertson adds there’s always pressure but it depends on how they can use it.

England Coach Steve Borthwick framed the venue as a burden for the All Blacks rather than a blessing.

He says in so many ways, that’s their record and the expectations and pressure are now upon them to try and keep that record.

England, of course, confronts history of their own, having lost eight successive times in New Zealand in the last 21 years.

The All Blacks take on England at Eden Park at 7.05 this evening.

In other International Test matches, Australia takes on Wales at 9.45pm, Japan takes on Georgia at 11.05pm while Ireland takes on South Africa at 3am tomorrow.
